Visiting the site

When you visit the site, our hosting provider records technical data: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type. This data is used only to run the site and protect it against abuse.

Conversations on WhatsApp

When you click “Try Léon on WhatsApp”, you open a conversation in the WhatsApp app, published by Meta. We then receive your phone number, your profile name and the content of your messages.

WhatsApp's own processing of your data is governed by WhatsApp's privacy policy.

The Léon service provided to hotels

When a hotel uses Léon to answer its own guests, the hotel is the controller of its guests' data. We then act as a processor, under the contract concluded with the hotel, which sets out access, providers, places of processing and retention periods. Guests who wish to exercise their rights may contact the hotel concerned.

Providers and transfers abroad

We work with carefully selected providers, bound by contract and by confidentiality:

Where data is transferred to a country whose level of protection the Federal Council does not consider adequate, we rely on the safeguards provided by the FADP, in particular the recipient's certification under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access and disclosure: access limited to those who need it, encrypted connections, minimal data retention.

Your rights

You may at any time request:

Write to us at contact@leonmajordome.com. We reply within 30 days. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, edoeb.admin.ch.

Changes

We may update this policy, in particular if our services or the law change. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
